L’evento è fissato per sabato 23 luglio alle 14:00, nella Sala H, e avrà il nome di Star Trek: Celebrating 50 Years: ci sarà appunto Shatner – l’originale Capitano Kirk, e al suo fianco di Scott Bakula (Star Trek: Enterprise), Michael Dorn e Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) e Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager). Al Comic-Con di quest’anno ci sarà anche il debutto di 50 Artists, 50 Years, una mostra d’arte con alcuni lavori ispirati al mondo di Star Trek proposti da 50 artisti di tutto il mondo. Sarà incluso nella mostra anche l’ultimo pezzo creato da Leonard Nimoy.
